Description

This course is designed to teach Code Enforcement Officials the fundamentals of how an air distribution system is designed to work, as part of the overall building envelope and equipment in order to properly condition a building.  One will learn the overall steps on designing a ducted air-distribution system (selecting appropriate ducts & fittings) to deliver the required airflow (CFM) to all rooms/spaces being conditioned.  Material covered will include equipment blower selection, balance damper installation, proper component selections to minimize pressure drops and optimum duct sizing procedures to ensure proper system airflow.
