Description
Proper duct system zoning set-up & control is required in getting HVAC systems to perform at their optimum levels. This course covers the basic zoning design, installation and balancing techniques to ensure proper system airflow. Topics include controls, air balancing (to include by-pass ducting), and basic troubleshooting. Basic zoning principles and operations will be examined, as well as real-world strategies to avoid the common problems associated with use of 3rd party (non-OEM) zone damper systems and too much bypass air.
