Panel Discussion on “Passive and Natural Ventilation Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Operation”

$0.00

Description

Passive and active natural ventilation systems, in the right climate zone, can be an effective way to reduce mechanical cooling costs in appropriate buildings. These systems have been introduced into educational environments to reduce mechanical cooling and ventilation hours in an effort to reduce building energy use. While the design concept isn-t new, current construction practices, components and integration with the building automation system have presented challenges to design and construction teams who aim for long term successful operations of these systems.
