This is the first of a three-part webinar series specifically for North Carolina code officials on the fundamentals of Residential HVAC Systems. Earn two mechanical CEs for participating in this webinar live and six total for the series.

This course is designed to teach code officials the fundamental steps required of the HVAC contractor in determining the correct equipment to consider for a building. Attendees will learn the important concepts used in assembling and producing an accurate residential HVAC load calculation. A load calculation example will be presented in conjunction with the “ACCA Manual J Do’s & Don’ts” to ensure accuracy throughout the entire load calculation evaluation. Real-life procedures will be shown on how to conduct a detailed site-survey to ensure capturing important construction details when building the load calculation report.
