Mountain Sun is a Design/Build firm in Asheville, NC. We design and build award winning spec and custom homes and enjoy occasionally collaborating with local architects to bring their designs to life. Our home designs are based on a study of the site, the clients’ unique needs, and a respect for the Earth in terms of material use and future energy and water consumption of the building.  With experience in land procurement, development, home design/construction and permaculture landscape design, we can guide clients through the entire process from finding the perfect spot to build on through move in and beyond or meet them wherever they may be on that path.  All of our homes are Energy Star and Green Built NC certified and many are Net Zero Energy certified.
