NCBPA will be hosting a series of workshops this fall across the state to aid architects, builders, developers, contractors, code officials and others in understanding the energy efficiency and performance changes coming to NC’s new commercial and residential building codes that take effect on January 1st of 2019. We’re seeking local companies and organizations to host our 2-hour workshops in metro and rural areas all across the state.
The commercial workshop focuses on key changes to the commercial energy code and how to meet and exceed them through high performance design, installation and products. The residential workshop details key changes and instructs attendees on how to leverage the newly-available Energy Rating Index (ERI or HERS Rating) option for energy code compliance, which saves builders and code officials time and money. CEUs for code officials and other trades are provided.
Interested in hosting a workshop in your region or for your company? Contact us at Info@BuildingNC.org or 919-841-6207 to talk about it. We’re seeking local partners in NC’s metro and rural areas to host workshops in October, November, January and February.
